Scope
Relocation of a county road between SC Highway 81 and Interstate Highway 85 to accommodate construction of a new manufacturing facility.  Project design time was only 30 days in order to accommodate commitments to the industry.  Design of the 2,850 feet relocated road included demolition, earthwork, storm drainage, paving and traffic control.  The project was designed to SCDOT standards and specifications.  Pavement design and turning clearances for truck traffic were significant considerations.
