Scope
Phase I of the City of Anderson City Hall improvements included the construction of a three-level reinforced concrete structure of approximately 21,227 gross square feet  with an unfinished lower level intended to house the future city council and municipal court facilities (to be completed in Phase II).  The upper two levels of the center, the main floor and mezzanine, house additional jail facilities for the City of Anderson.  These areas consist of 48 single and double occupancy cells, a master control room, toilets, showers, storage spaces, and associated facilities.  Site work included the relocation of an existing driveway, construction of reinforced concrete retaining walls, an entrance areaway, courtyard, storm drainage, and the relocation of utility systems.
