Project Client Scope Ultimately, the work consisted of a complete cleaning, refurbishing, and repainting of the existing manufacturing facility, a collage of buildings built in several additions between the 1960’s and the 1980’s and totaling approximately 85,000 square feet. Responding to the visual impact of the new adjacent Tech Center and Creform Manufacturing Building, all exterior exposed metal panels and surfaces as well as complete interior surfaces (floors, walls, and ceilings) were repaired, resurfaced, and painted with an industrial paint system. Further exterior renovations included the addition of elevated windows and ventilation systems spaced strategically along the exterior façade and the installation of a new metal panel knee wall system along the building base. Completing the renovations to the existing manufacturing facility, a three coat seamless, synthetic rubber membrane roof restoration system was applied to the existing ribbed and standing seam metal panel roof system to seal all minor penetrations and leak areas as well as to provide a more energy efficient alternative.
