The Advance Copper Network Trace tool provides the database manager with more flexibility in maintaining and reporting the network records. This tool allows the user to trace a pair, trace all pairs, limit length, verify terminals, trace a pair by count, update loop lengths and trace from cables or terminals.

The phone number trace tool provides easier access and viewing of the information associated to a phone number. To obtain information about a phone number, simply provide the phone number to begin the search. When the search is complete the information about the phone number, such as customer name, assigned pair, and loop length are returned. In addition to the customer information, the trace engine will return the path of the phone number through the copper network. The returned path will contain all the terminals and cables that the phone number passes through, including the assigned terminal.
